Guizhou Crystal Organic Chemical Co. organized a fire drill for the upcoming Fire Awareness Day on Nov. 9, which was designed to improve reaction timing over fire accidents caused by leakage of hazardous chemicals.
After hearing a siren, the fire brigade deployed two fire engines to the scene. Two firefighters wearing air respirators entered the building to investigate and reported on the situation to the site operator. Two teams had fought the fire with three fire hoses.
The company's security officers observed the drill to learn how to respond to a sudden fire and organize a rescue mission.
